We work diligently to give our clients a good experience with the breed. Our puppy contracts come with an acceptance of the puppy’s return if something changes in the buyer‘s situation. We have a 1 year health guarantee and have pedigrees that can be thoroughly researched by clients prior to purchase on the Pedigree Database. All litters are licensed vet checked at 6 weeks old and are released to their new owners at 8 weeks old. We offer a lot of quality and health testing backing our quality progeny. Right now we are producing a lot of BLACK, including the more difficult to produce LONG COAT SOLID BLACK!

Richthofen has built a good solid reputation over the past 29 years by showing, titling and health testing our GSDs before considering bringing them into our program. A lot of understanding concerning bloodlines, type and ability to reproduce qualify is all important parts of our Richthofen progeny. With litters costing $1000 or less per puppy they are extremely affordable for the qualify in their pedigrees.

Richthofen is an excellent place to begin educating yourself concerning this breed and the different factions involved. We put a lot of time and effort into selecting individuals based off of pedigree, temperament, health testing and titling. All of our GSDs have excellent pedigrees that can easily be researched on the pedigree database. Our work is primarily with a majority West German/European pedigree which produces a nice looking easier going GSD that most families want. We put all this effort forth so that we can produce dependable family companions that are healthy, beautiful to look at and a joy to share life with. This gives your puppy exposure to a lot of distractions and they learn to obey their training commands under distraction this way. . We believe that training should be enjoyable for both dogs and their owners-always end your training sessions on a good note.
Due to the rising number of trainers who take peoples’ dogs for training without the owner involvement turning out to abuse, starve and steal dogs we do NOT recommend sending your dog off for training. It’s best for you to find a dog club and go join some training classes usually held once a week for 6-8 weeks. This way you and your dog both learn together and become a better team. .
